♥Lymphatic System♥
I have learned something this week from the "Lymphatic System" which was reported by Mr. Panopio Thursday. Through Jc and Mr. Gregg, I have learned that this lymphatic system our second circulatory system, maybe because of its duties and functions to our body. It has four major functions which are very important to our body. This lymphatic system is both the transport system and barracks of our immune system. Lymphatic system has its cycle, Sir Gregg discussed that to us. Antigen and antibodies are also here in this chapter, the component of our immune system was also clearly discussed here, even the types of immunity. Part of our body's defense mechanism is the WBC or white blood cells which has several types. The chapter also said that inflammation and fever are also part of our body's defense against foreign bodies and pathogens.
Comment: Well I could say that Sir Gregg is an effective teacher. That's all :) he made the lesson easier

Actually this lesson for me is somewhat hard because of many terms in this chapter but since Sir Gregg helped us and thought us, I have understood the lesson easier.
That's all :)

♥Respiratory System♥
The respiratory tract is divided into two airways, the upper and lower.hmm, let's talk little about lungs. lungs contain continually branching airways called bronchi and bronchioles, at the end of those branching tubes there is a small sac called alveolar sacs. Each sacs is surrounded by a cappillary network where gas exchange occurs with blood. thats what i remember from that system :) thats all haha :) ♥

♥cardiovascular system♥
The one that pumps the blood through out our body is the heart. it has four chambers; two at the upper and smaller than the two lower parts. The two upper is namely at left and right atrium, while the two lower are named as left or right ventricle. The hear is surrounded by a serous membrane called as pericardium. Heart has its movement to pump the blood, it is called as cardiac cycle.
The next is Blood. Blood has very important functions. Blood transports oxgens, helps to regulate a variety of levels in the body to maintain homeostasis, also blood protect us from invasion and infection by pathogens and toxins. Blood's major contents are plasma. There are RBC also as red blood cells or erythrocytes, WBC also as white blood cells, or leukocytes and Thrombocytes or platelets.
Lastly is the blood vessels. Arteries carries blood away from the heart, while veins carry blood to heart. Capillary is a blood vessels that has thin walls so that it can allow for exchanges of waste products.
In this chapter, there has been a lot of knowledge that I have learned. Although this chapter was long, it is still interesting to know about this especially the heart and how it works. :)

♥Endocrine Gland♥
Int this chapter, we have been discussed about the functions of the various endocrine glands. We are able to describe the purposes and effects of the hormones within our body. Hormones are chemical messenger that are released by our endocrine glands. Endocrine glands are composes of hypothalamus, pineal body, pituitary gland, thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, and ovaries/ testes.♥
♥the terms that we have encountered in this chapter was unusual for us. :) especially the hormones ♥
